Samuel Faustine (tenor), performs a variety of genres ranging from Baroque Opera to Modern Musical Theater. Sam has recently performed the roles of Boyar Kruschov in Boris Godunov (San Francisco Symphony) Anthony in Sweeney Todd (SJ Stage), Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors (Ray of Light Theatre), Curly in Oklahoma (Broadway by the Bay), The Roasted Swan in Carmina Burana (SJ Sinfonia, Awesöme Orchestra) and many leading roles with Lamplighters Music Theatre - favorites include Candide, Frederick, Robin and Fairfax. Sam sings counter-tenor in addition to tenor, and is an active member of the Bay Area’s choral and sacred music communities, singing often with San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, Grace Cathedral, Volti, Cappella SF, and many other local ensembles.
